So tired of ppl telling me Im ‘too harsh’ I survived being married to a Jihadi and successfully escaped from him w my baby. I was disowned by my family, started my life over, earned 3 degrees and am now happily married w a second daughter. Do you think I did that by being gentle?

Exactly.I had a Muslim friend tell me I was ‘too angry’at Islam. Of course my reaction was to get angry at the comment, but I didnt want to prove her point, so I just stared wordlessly. OF COURSE IM ANGRY! It’s destroying lives everyday! Am I supposed to be ok w that? - 3 more replies

You give me hope Yasmine. I'm a girl trapped in an Islamic country and I want nothing more than for us to be free. Keep fighting, harshly

I am continually apalled & embarassed by comments that criticize women who have fought so valiantly for everything feminism is supposed to embrace. Women here living cushy western lives & all the rights and privileges embedded therein arent qualified to criticize either of you.

Like George Carlin said: "I like people, but once you get past a minute and half, I gotta get the fuck out of there! And my reason is one that you might share, I have a very low tolerance for stupid bullshit!"
