I've been following the work of Ibn Warraq, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Wafa Sultan, Mohammed Asghar, Patrick Sookhdeo and Jamal Jivanjee and seeing the defenses they make for Western liberal culture relative to Islamic since the early 200s when it was only neocons fighting with them.
Some self-reflection is happening. Good to see.

Harris, Dawkins and Hitchens started laying the gauntlet down in the mid 2000s but it seems it was really only until the mid 2010s that Ex Muslims and conservative types were joined by anyone on the progressive side representing humanism. It's just unfortunate all around.
