NEVER needed in females. And the argument it's the same as male circumcision is aload of bull crap!!! The clitoris is cut off in the girls so that sex is painful. Sometimes they even sew the vaginal opening almost closed. Its all to inhibit the females from enjoying sex at all.
This is like the argument that, as per Quran 4:34, it’s ok to beat your wife if she disobeys....but only beat her lightly. If your coming from a secular perspective wanting to just have a cause to voice you would not understand. Circumcision is taught by God Almighty and promotes health in the man & woman he is in sexual/marriage relationship with. Not one man asked remembers circumcision

These practices can only be defended by citing the ancient practices of Jewish and Muslim tribes in antiquity. There is no practical justification for it now other than religious and cultural dogma.
