Hm. I haven’t watched the whole interview yet, but this whole exchange made my stomach turn. I really hope Ben doesn’t have a gay son/daughter. What a devastating life it would be for that child.

We have to a knowledge that teaching religious kids being gay is sin has a tendency to make gay kids in those communities hate themselves & have suicidal thinking. Challenge homophobic thinking everywhere, make it clear it’s not a sin just because someone said a sky god said so.

Didn’t make my stomach turn at all. Two friends talking honestly about where their boundaries are with each other. I’ve had these conversations in private. I can’t imagine the bravery it takes to air it for everyone to see.
