Fair point. But many of Rubin's critiques are hyperbolic, for e.g, that he takes money from the Kochs which is total nonsense. The implication being that he doesn't privately believe in what he publicly states. Trust me, he does. He is one of the most genuine people I know.

Dave is a sensitive guy. He's been sincere & helpful to so many, so understandably, he just feels betrayed when they *publicly* throw him under the bus. I've seen some of his close friends challenge him privately, vigorously even. One of these incidents was recent.

That’s the thing. So many w Rubinitis have decided he’s deplorable.But if they met him, theyd be taken aback by his sincerity and heart. Dave is a genuinely good person-thats immediately apparent. He never claimed to be perfect and no one is. But he is trying his best to do good.
