This tweet was written by someone w a sex blog who calls herself ‘Nice Mangos’ in reference to her breasts. The hypocrisy is, of course, that she’s claiming that @MsMelChen is not an intellectual because she makes penis jokes. I find that attempt at slut shaming to be disgusting.
Melissa is, indeed, an intellectual and a scientist. As well, she and @faisalalmutar work to spread enlightenment values in the Arabic speaking world through their org @IdeasB2. In contrast, the sex blogger has done nothing beyond having anonymous social media accounts.
In a realm where we are outnumbered by several multitudes by men, it’s pretty depressing that it is women cutting down women that is the most vitriolic. We can criticize each other’s ideas without lowering ourselves to personal slander.
