I am frequently informed that I'm not in a position to criticize Christianity because I was only ever a Jehovah's Witness and therefore I don't know it well enough. Apparently a man born of a virgin who walked on water isn't absurd, but a group of men in NY who speak for him is.
Ignore them and keep talking. Criticize Christianity even if you were never Christian, Islam even if you were never a Muslim, Nazism even if you were never a Nazi etc. You have a brain and you can criticize lunacy. You don’t have to have experienced it first-hand.
