I get ur point, Yasmine, but perhaps u were thinking of d community YOU r in n not all Atheist groupings, hence ur OP overgeneralised. Beside specific ex-religionX communities, I think dat Atheist communities" r rather loosely defined as we're anyway diverse in other aspects.

I'm glad you clarified your first statement. I've honestly never thought, in my wildest imagination, that atheism is (even remotely) sexist. Full disclosure: I'm a privileged white male (who happens to be an atheist).
