In Canada, we generally follow a step behind the US politically You had Bush, we had Harper, you had Obama, we got Trudeau...then you voted in Trump- and now Im seeing some scary politicians emerging in Canada I hope we can stop the cycle; I hope our fate isnt inevitably sealed

I actually think she’s more dangerous than Trump. I’m just glad she’s nowhere near the federal level.

When societies don’t deal with issues like Islam, immigration, etc. there is a high likelihood that a far right politician will be elected. People see with there own eyes what is happening in their society & want it fixed. If the left refuses the right will step in.
