Where was this solidarity when we fight to NOT wear these religious tools of oppression? We screamed till our throats were dry and our spirits deflated-and now they show up in support of something so heinous. Something theyd never want for their daughters. Disgusting.

How are feminists so confused? They come out in droves to support hijab and niqab like a bunch of mindless idiots. They’re happy to support continued erasure of their sisters. Continued misogyny and modesty culture. But only for brown women of course! White women deserve better.
I honestly wish I could trade you all for the strong fearless true feminists in Saudi Arabia and Iran and across the Muslim world. They are fighting with such courage and dying for their basic freedoms. To not cover their head, to drive-and you betray them like this.
It is confusing though... I’m not Muslim and I don’t know many Muslim women. I live in a place that is predominantly white with v little integration unfortunately. Of those I do - none wear niqabs but all do support those who choose to. 1/
It’s a massive subject that I fed I just do not know enough about... And while I feel ignorant on it I remain reluctant to ban something that I don’t understand... does that make sense?! 
Their mindset reflects a profound level of ignorance. They are ignorant to the fact that women across the world who refuse to wear the veil could be jailed, ostracized from their family or even killed. How does that advance women's freedom of rights and wellbeing? Mindless indeed
It is the height of racism to accept behaviour and practices that one would not tolerate for themselves. I cannot imagine the misery that wearing a niqab and must cause women. I cannot imagine the pain and distress of female circumcision

It is pretty nonsensical.
I think this sort of thing might be due to a lack of learning critical thinking skills combined with the hive mind nature of liberalism as it exists today, maybe.
It is because they reduce it down to a cultural clothing choice. A costume. And then harp on about how it is a choice. They hardly look beneath to understand the root of this regressive practice and how it symbolises the opposite extreme of what feminists tend to espouse. Dumb.
