I feel you, I’m an ex-hijabi too. Hijab hid my personality and made me feel like half the person I was, it’s an utterly disgraceful method of controlling women.
You can't just speak for everyone??? I wore the hijab and I hated it! I hated it more that anything and it made me feel erased and imprisoned. Sorry that you may have not been forced to wear it but that doesn't make it okay for you to speak like that?

I was born in 1967 and watched the moon landings with my parents. If you told me then that we’d be debating the hijab in 2018 as opposed to whether we should colonize Mars I’d have thought you’d lost your minds.
