I saw a similar report in the NY Times. It is pretty awful. I cant help but think if the wives as victums though.
Why? Because they’re women? They were Siraj Wahhaj’s children. All raised by the same man in the same home. They all made the same decision to start this extremist camp to raise their children to shoot up schools. Why would you assume the women were victims any more than the men?

It really is impossible to know in these cases. Because most men will always be physically stronger than most women, and especially since religious structures give men more institutional power, one cannot rule out coercion, but one can't *assume* it always, either.

No because they most likely qualify as victims of abuse themselves and where likely powerless to effect any thing even the urge to do so had made it through thier conditioning.

I freely admit I may have this all wrong but I would not be surprised if a psychological exam found them not fit for trial.
