What was going through Muhammad's crazy mind when he thought not drinking water during the day up.
The @USArmy taught us to hydrate constantly.
There’s a very probable speculation that it was because his men kept leaving the battlefield to go eat/drink so he decided to do this. Also explains why most battles were fought in Ramadan.
Seems odd to not carry some food stuff's & drink into battle to consume during lulls in the fighting. But I suppose fighting was more up close & personal in those days. Still I can't imagine trying to fight in that heat without water. Seems like very poor generalship by Muhammad
