Because a Canadian had the audacity to send out a tweet concerned about one of their many, many human rights violations.

I'm just embarrassed that Canada had bigger balls than us on this issue. Never in my life I don't think have I ever heard much public criticism either from an official or just on the media toward KSA. We're terrified.

You have no idea how many people get hurt when they go to religious pilgrimage to Saudi and see first hand the lavish style of Saudi monarchy contradicting the teachings of the religion from which it makes money.

How so? There’s nothing in Islam that vilifies wealth. That’s a very Christian concept. Or do you mean because they are focusing so much on material/dunya things? What surprised me the most was how *terribly* they treat their fellow Muslims from other countries.
