I dunno...it’d be pretty difficult for any self-described feminist to defend this. It’s akin to defending foot-binding or virgin sacrifices. The mental gymnastics required is just astounding.

Yasmine, there is actually a *physical* component to the
#depression, too. Because their skin never gets sun exposure, they are severely deficient in vitamin D. It's known that#vitaminDdeficiency contributes to depression. -

That actually pisses me off. So funny to make lighthearted jokes after an 8 yr old gets killed by a nail bomb. Yes, Islam does kill ppl. It’s been killing ppl for 1400 yrs. Not to mention the misery it causes to the ppl still alive living under its draconian theocratic regimes.

Now there's a movie they won't make. Seriously though..while I know and understand beneath every one of those shrouds is a real woman and person, they still look really scary, too. I saw a group of them in an airport in Australia..my first and only time seeing full burqa.
