I think it’s important to take a stand. When Trump gets voted in a second term or the alt-right continues to swell because all their perceived grievances are being actualized...you dont want to feel that you could have contributed to stopping it but you didn’t.
NYT will respond to a financial hit. And more importantly, it will show the world that Americans are not actually ok w racism-even if a few vocal and influential ppl are.
