Well his explanations and variety of knowledge is quite similar
To be clear: when you say ‘puppies are to dogs as kittens are to cats’ the point isn’t to say that cats and dogs are similar. I don’t think the men are similar...I think they both engage w their religions in a similar way.

Peterson routinely asserts the importance of Judeo-Christian values for Western society, but demurs on taking responsibility for the bad parts, whilst continuously mischaracterizing secularism's origins & importance. I've never seen Maajid do anything like that with Islam.

Well, yes, there are many other differences I could point out. I don’t think they’re exactly the same. But I do think they’re both interested in seeing their religions benign enough so that they innocuously fit into secular societies.
