, I’ll leave Jordan to speak for himself: a) I believe this (hopefully temporary) pivot back to theism vs atheism is unhelpful b) focus must always be on attaining universal secular liberal democratic humanist values -
c) you don’t need religion for those values, though they can accommodate for religion’s existence d) the term ‘judeo-Christian values’ is ahistoric, culturally self-congratulatory & inaccurate e) I do not advocate more religion as a solution, only more secularism

Maajid far far better in my opinion. He doesn't try to berate the non-religious and prop up religion. Never has he suggested atheists secretly believe in God. Maajid doesn't use excessive mental gymnastics and woo woo nonsense to try and justify the crap in old scriptures either.
