Also the aspect of ‘just follow orders, don’t question’ is extremely important to both Muslims and soldiers. Also why they marry four, and so young, to make maximum babies (and hope for males) to grow the army. There are so many things that give this theory credence.
This thing about accepting orders is common to Islam, armies, and, let's not forget, communism and its derivatives, besides totalitarian regimes like North Korea's. So is aggressive expansion.
