Did you get in trouble if a shoe was flipped over? Because now the bottom of the shoe is pointed up at Allah
Or got in trouble for lying on your stomach? Or for lying in your back with one leg crossed over the other?

So many weird things that you don’t realize are weird. What’s the logic behind the index finger of the right hand going up in down in the last rakah of prayer?
Anyone else do that?6 replies 7 retweets 32 likesShow this thread -

Aww...I do miss Ramadan in Egypt. It was fun. But most of my Ramadan’s were in Canada, and those were absolute HELL. The summer days can be upwards of 15 hrs long.

Not in Canada, no. They’d think we were crazy knocking on their door at 11pm to bring dates and milk
But in Egypt, the whole building was just a few apartments and we all knew each other. We’d all eat then go out on the balcony till morning practically. Eating lib. Good times.0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

Where did you grow up? PS: In Doha, around Iftar, you’d see all the McDonalds delivery motorcycles running around. Ewww!! After not eating all day, and w access to some of the best food in the world -and they choose cold fast food. Gross.

Dubai was where we went to get away from the conservative life in Doha. Wild Wadi, all sorts of concerts...we almost moved to Abu Dhabi.
