How many #ExMuslims had to eat on the floor with one knee up and with 3 fingers as per Sunnah? And drinking water? Were you told you had to drink it in 3 gulps (again, as per Sunnah). Just trying to gauge how extreme my upbringing was Was every aspect of your life dictated too?

Did you get in trouble if a shoe was flipped over? Because now the bottom of the shoe is pointed up at Allah Or got in trouble for lying on your stomach? Or for lying in your back with one leg crossed over the other?

Was there a symphony every time someone sneezed? Achoo! Alhamdullilah -Yarhamak Allah Yarhamna wa yarhamak Allah Heaven forbid someone in your family got a cold. You had to do that all day...

So many weird things that you don’t realize are weird. What’s the logic behind the index finger of the right hand going up in down in the last rakah of prayer? Anyone else do that?

Aww...I do miss Ramadan in Egypt. It was fun. But most of my Ramadan’s were in Canada, and those were absolute HELL. The summer days can be upwards of 15 hrs long.

If you remember I had told you guys about the couple of Muslims up here fasting for almost 21 hours. By solstice sunrise is around 230 am and sunset after 1130 pm.
