You know something insane? It was on twitter that I first learned women can be criminally charged for dancing in public in Iran. Maybe tangential, but it shows just how much you get exposed to the world affairs that seems to get deliberately hidden and this is also an example.

Man I sooooo hope that the Iranians manage to stand up to their government and turn Iran into a secular nation. A Muslim nation that lived under sharia law and rejected it would sent shockwaves through the Muslim world and destroy the "perfect system" narrative.
