Yasmine, how do you keep from becoming bitter or angry when confronting this kind of vitriol on a regular basis?
I was bitter and angry the whole time I was Muslim. I’m free now. I only feel sadness and pity for her. Hopefully one day she’ll come to value herself more than her religion values her.

I haven’t let go of the bitterness I don’t think. The sheer tenacity of somebody to claim to be a person of god whilst breaking these over your head is the bitterest joke of all time. And Sara supports this abuse.
