I think it was painfully obvious. He didn’t have any strong arguments to counter Sam’s clear assertions. Example: Yes or no, did the resurrection happen? Sam: Most likely, no. JP: I’ll need 40 hrs to respond... Sam was clear and straightforward and JP was unclear and unsteady.
Having said that, I like a lot of what JP has to say-except for when it comes to god and women...then I almost always vehemently disagree w him.

Peterson's epistemology infects everything he says. Even when he's right, he's right for the wrong reaosns. He's poisonous and should not be treated as an ally except with immense caution and a careful distance on very specific issues.

His so-called epistemology is just a trick. He's changing the definition of truth so it's easier to cash out propositions for which actual evidence and reason can't be provided. It's so blatantly fallacious, it still astounds me each time I see someone defend it.

Peterson's conversations with Jonathan Haidt and Steven Pinker are really good, as is (more surprisingly) the one with Russell Brand. I think it'd be more interesting to hear him talk to Sam about the intersection of science and politics.
