The problem w/ Trump & Kim meeting lies in the fact that IF negotiations don’t work out, as historically one side normally doesn’t keep their end, then there is no one above to further negotiations.That’s why for decades we haven’t had presidents doing the negotiations themselves
I actually think this is pretty brilliant. Trump is speaking to him at his level. He wants to be the fearless, brave leader that is worshipped, so Trump is coming at him from that angle. Good point, but the way we did it in the past didn’t work. This is a lot more volatile, but perhaps it could actually yield results.
