A couple differences r that there is no threat of eternal damnation if I don’t subscribe to the philosophy of Kant. I can change from one philosophy to another w/o death threat for apostasy.
I see religions as no different from any other philosophy. We progress and we learn through philosophies. Some have positive aspects we choose to keep, some have horrible aspects that need to be left in history. religions are distinct from philosophies because many of them encourage blind adherence. Put your reason on hold & operate through "faith" and "obedience." Give me a religion of reason, good judgment, & one the always seeks greater humanity & common good for all
