It’s not personal. Canada is awesome in a million ways. But if you moved to the Mid East, you wouldnt suddenly adopt their culture either. Culture is fine and bring more flavor to life the issue is hanging on to ideologies that oppressed them and the main reason they left from and an oppressive regime to a free secular one
That’s only true for those who left because of the oppression...some left for financial gain or other reasons.
