I had to do both diversity training and generational differences training at work. I did actually find the generational differences part interesting. It left me wondering how much influence generation impacts a person though. Seemed pretty accurate about beliefs, work ethic, etc.

It said Boomers are workaholics. Gen X values work/life balance. Has disdain for authority. Millennials love authority, parents are their heros, all want to be leaders, need constant approval, etc.

I agree w that. I think technology (or lack thereof) played a significant role in the difference btwn Gen X and Gen Y/Millennials
