I attended a lecture once for this guy, he is a liar and I'm pretty sure he is working towards an agenda which he knows well. Can you imagine that he said Egypt punishes Christians who convert to Muslims?? !!
Maajid is on point. But the crux here is, according to Islam: Muslimphobia is entirely acceptable; Islamophobia is punishable by death. Sincere question, where does Islam says that Islamophobia ( irrational fear of Islam) is punishable by death? Perhaps you have a different definition of Islamophobia ?

The Quran and Hadith are full of declarations that those who insult or ridicule Islam should be killed. Sharia is based on Quran and Sunnah. For someone named Ali, I'm surprised this is news to you. Have you never heard of the blasphemy laws in Muslim-majority countries?

Exactly & like all totalitarian belief systems (religious or not) they don’t just say they are perfect, but even though they say they are perfect, they are apparently so insecure they have laws banning criticism & discussion, and laws banning not believing in that belief system.

That's a very good point. And devout Muslim's would appear to be the only one's who demonstrate an irrational fear of the religion, or at least transgressing it's rules.
