My original quote was talking about the supremacism in Islam and Nazism. The @AtheistRepublic meme added the other symbols. Arguments can be made that Judaism, Hinduism, etc are also supremacist ideologies. But they are not the big fish needing to be fried-Islam and Nazism are.

I disagree w/ your lumping in/comparative narrative of Judaism w/ Nazism & Islam. I learned in Israel & US, never taught Supreme ideology.

This is an anti-Semitic interpretation that has been used against us throughout our history. Of course there are elitist of every group.

Yasmina. I am hoping you are open minded enough to approach Jews and ask what they think. Not what you wish them to think. Your statement is indeed antisemitic in outcome if not intent. I have NEVER heard any teaching of the sort in my upbringing. It was a flip remark.

I’m glad you never heard it. A friend of mine, who is not considered ‘pure’ enough (as his mother is not Jewish), was humiliated when he was mistreated in Israel. Another friend w the last name Cohen was shunned by her community/family for marrying a nonJew. The hierarchy exists.
