    4/4 We provide extensive documentation on all introduced optimizations. The low-cost Arduino-based pressure device can be assembled with minimal technical skill and used to upgrade existing setups with automated cleaning. This can also speed up training of novel patch-clampers

    3/4 We accomplished this by implementing the pipette cleaning protocol by to our multipatch setups which allows clean2complete (red) to reuse failed patch pipette, while clean2extend (yellow) lets you probe additional synaptic connections with the same pipettes.

    2/4 We were able to detect 50 monosynaptic connections out of 150 probed connections in a single human cortical slice between 17 neurons. Over 600 synaptic connections can be probed in single patients. This will allow systematic analysis of the human microcircuit.
