SOME NEEDED CONTEXT: Activists calling for defunding the police are not always calling for dismantling departments. In many cases, it means redirecting funds from police departments to other parts of society that help people like housing, education, and communities.

They really need to come up with another word for "defunding," which isn't even accurate. How about reprioritizing or something like that. If this continues, people will vote against Dems.

There are several ppl on this thread saying that defund and abolish are exactly what they mean when they say it. In the past I have tended to vote left of center, but the more the far left talks, the further I scoot to the right.
