With regret (again), I disavow my Dean's statement. The issue here isn't academic freedom. Of course Dr. Risch is free to express his opinions. But he is not free to misrepresent his opinions as science. He is a public health menace.https://respectfulinsolence.com/2020/07/24/harvey-risch-defends-hydroxychloroquine/ …

Agree attached Dr Risch’s review article’s supplementary document clearly states his opinion was based on ongoing 5 incomplete trials on recruitment stage yet to be peer reviewedpic.twitter.com/YIbRf7UySS

Disagree. As a dean should have reviewed Dr Risch’s article in detail including supplementary documents Attached Dr Risch’s review article’s supplementary document clearly states his opinion was based on ongoing 5 incomplete trials on recruitment stage yet to be peer reviewedpic.twitter.com/0FORyGQS87

And he is on the Editorial Board of the Journal. And let’s face it, few clinicians rely of the Journal of Epidemiology for leading edge clinical research.
