The things I’ve seen and heard, my dears ... some of your African/Black men community leaders suffer from low-self esteem and do not value the women that look like their mothers. They’ll praise them in public but belittle these same women in private.

Those men are trash. I think there's needs to be distinction on "East African" because those type of men aren't referring to Rwandan, Ugandan women. They're referring to the Horn of Africa countries (Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia) because of their proximity of whiteness.
