  12. In Namibia, I run almost exclusively by myself, or with a few children in the village. But Saturday morning featured my first run in more than 16 months with a person older than the age of 15. Thanks to my running pal Lydia Saylor! Oh, and English Landing Park is beautiful!

  19. Beci & I saw an amazing 15 seconds of nature on Sunday at Etosha National Park in Namibia: A male lion mated with a female & then they sauntered away.

  20. Beci & I spent today at a national park in Namibia. Despite the heat, lots of elephants & zebras were out. And close to us. So wonderful!
