Currently installed versions will work just fine, until they become outdated in 2 years or so.
The single best way around this is to provide the sources and make them easily accessible. Let vanced die, long live not-vanced eternal edition.

Vance just stopped working 2 days ago. RIP to one of the best apps I've ever had the pleasure of downloading. You'll be missed.
