Language is not binary. Words have multiple meanings, syntaxes, and cognates between languages can have varied meanings between those languages. Keep in mind "Negro" in Spanish, which has a completely different English meaning, which itself has changed over history.

A machine cannot adapt to the rapidly-changing and immensely diverse language and culture of real humans. Trusting it with the livelihoods of millions of creators is reckless and unfair for all those whose sole source of income is/was their YouTube monetisation.

The absolute worst aspect of YouTube under the current management is the Orwellian misuse of moderation to remove channels without any communication as to why the individual's channel was removed.

Mumkey Jones and now his Girlfriend's channel have been purged from the site without warning or reason. Community Guidelines and Copyright strikes are given to channels at random and without warning, and very rarely are ever resolved.

Videos are taken down, channels fail to appear in feeds, and "non-advertiser-friendly" content is suppressed, in the hopes of propagating a false narrative that YouTube is a site run by happy, innoffensive, and decidedly robotic individuals lacking both opinions and personality.

It is intolerable that YouTube continues to operate this way. The lack of real, honest communication between the site and its users is only the icing on the rancid cake that is the current state of YouTube.

If the site is going to turnaround, it *MUST* 1. Establish penalties for repeated usage of fraudulent Copyright Claims on YouTube. 2. Minimise the automation of moderation, and abandon the advertiser-friendliness system as it currently exists.

3. Start communicating more with creators when a moderator action is taken and take sppeals seriously. 4. Restore the channels of individuals who were wrongfully terminated due to abuses of the copyright system and/or unjustified moderator action.

5. Stop punishing channels focusing on Education, News, Current Events, and Political commentary for simply existing. These channels are a very strong niche and are being dosproportionately affected by the multiple abuses of moderation & the advertiser-friendliness system.

I sincerely want YouTube to Improve, but they have made it clear, whether intentionally or otherwise, that they do not care about their creators' or consumers' opinions on the site.

If this has been unintentional, I hope that @SusanWojcicki and @TeamYouTube take these criticisms to heart and enact some real changes to the platform. But if not, I won't be surprised when the site inevitably goes the way of Myspace.
