Dear : Our Southern Border is not a door that you can close. Here in TX, it runs down middle of Rio Grande River. In many places, it is beautiful, rugged, wild. You cannot control it. Go back to NY & build more tasteless hotels. Sincerely, Fed Up Texan

Please define “MORE” and share how your going to pay for it. You & majority manufactured this crisis by failing to fulfill your Texas constitutional obligation to adequately fund public schools. Instead shifted cost to local property tax payers.

"Democrats have picked up 12 seats. We have increased leverage and increased momentum on our side, so we need to own the power that has been given to us by the hard work people did to get us those 12 new seats. That should apply to every decision we make”

Today Trump claimed he will seize large swaths of land from private citizens at gunpoint and declare a “state of emergency” to build a wall without Congressional approval. In the face of tyranny, Republicans are outraged ... by a freshman Member of Congress using profanity.

BREAKING NEWS: Trump just threatened to use his “emergency powers” to deploy the military to build his Great Wall without permission from Congress. This deserves much more attention than it’s getting — so far. Watch this space.

It’s true that 10 actual and suspected terrorists are caught trying to enter the United States daily, according to government data. But according to the State Department, none have been apprehended at the southern border.

We currently have border security in place, what we lack is strong humanitarian policies to provide relief to those fleeing from war and famine. You would know this, Senator, if you were down at the border.

You’d be forgiven if you thought “conservatism” consisted of 30-somethings' snark or racism masquerading as a fetish for border security or pro-Russian foreign policy or determined expansion of income inequality.

I asked to meet with you when you were in El Paso last week and you declined. You need to hear from human rights & legal advocates who have been on the ground and on the front lines as well. All sides must be heard to truly find a humanitarian solution. P.S. we have a wall

By passing H.R. 1, the Act, we can ensure that the people’s interests — not special interests — are the focus of this Democratic House.

No matter what type of barrier, border communities are opposed! We need to our border region. Congress—do not give Trump any more money for ICE, CBP, or a border wall! CALL to : (202) 224-3121

DEFINITELY watch this, all. And then call House members to support . I have my doubts this can make it through the Senate, but it'll force Senators on the record, and that's no small thing.

Hate to break it to Trump voters, but you are never EVER getting the wall. We will make sure Trump loses by a landslide in 2020, he might even get impeached, and then Democrats will spend those billions on stuff America actually needs like Medicare for All and a Green New Deal.

Tell that to Dan Patrick who inequitably underfunds and handcuffs schools on behalf of the corporate school lobby and Big Charter movement. The State of Texas is education's public enemy #1.
