It is different from “Do you remember me?” One is filled with hope the other is an accusation. And know this, in my life in times the accusatory version never ends well. It always creates anxiety and/or guilt. Not a fun way to start an interaction with a relative stranger.

I never assume ANYBODY remembers me. I dang near reintroduce myself to
#MamaFran when she visits. There’s nothing wrong with saying “Hi, I’m Yvette. We met at John’s house last Arbor Day. Great to see you again.” It’s kind & creates a nice place to land for a person.Prikaži ovu nit -

) has the bandwidth to hold onto every face and name we ever encounter.
Be kind.
Be fair.

Agree. On a smaller scale, was in a nail shop and owner says to me that “someone knows you” referring to her client. I looked at her and couldn’t place her. She then says that she knows me from company X where I had been laid off months before. I was the only AA VP. It’s petty

I think that statement also comes from people who doesn’t see themselves as memorable. Few things are “always” anything. Many of our “truths” are just our perceptions based upon our personal experiences.
