    Note that the article says that the airport will be 'carbon neutral'. To clarify, this only applies to the building - Bristol Airport has no plans to cut climate-wrecking emissions from the increase in flights the expansion will support!

    New legal advice on Bristol Airport expansion finds that "the environmental impacts... mean that the proposal does not comply with the [local] Development Plan" and "the economic benefits have been significantly overstated".

    After successful crowdfund last year, we have been able to commission legal advice for Cllrs from leading planning barrister . There are clear legal reasons for refusal & it would be lawful to turn it down.
