Today I learned that Robin Hanson, the “redistribute access to sex” economist dude, wrote a bunch of blogposts a few years back about how being cuckolded is as bad as rape. http://www.overcomingbias.com/2014/11/hanson-loves-moose-caca.html …

I'm sure this is true. And as I said I don't want to get in the weeds with incels. I was just trying to make the point that it really isn't about the inability to get sex or that, if that were the problem, it would require a transformation of society https://twitter.com/csodacsirke/status/990355333905170432 …

nope. _sex work_ is for people who can and don't mind paying for skilled services. Whereas incels believe that they are _entitled_ to sex. (They also don't view good sex as a skill.)
-
In addition to the fact that they feel they shouldn't have to pay for it, they actually have a shitton of hatred and resentment toward sex workers because of this entitlement they believe in, and so are often particularly dangerous clients.
-
In fact, many go after sex workers online, attempting to dox them (sometimes succeeding) etc. So they don't even need to be clients to be dangerous to sex workers, they make an effort to be dangerous without even bothering with the whole paying for sex part.

Except these are the type of people who stalk, doxx, and murder sex workers for being "sluts". They dont want sex. They want control over a specific type of woman that dosnt exist.

It's not about sex, it's about power. Incels and other angry "sex-deprived" people are deadly to sex workers.
