    It was the start of my career after a brief workshop from & . They hated the fact that I brought a Windows Phone to the workshop because it was all about iPhone. Still learned a lot that day & it was the start of a great new chapter in my career. 🙂

    It was shot on the Nokia Lumia 1020 without any specialised apps or external microphone. The build in camera app was really good and could shoot in 25fps. Editing on the phone was almost impossible so had to do that on the computer.

    Played around with the new colour grading app GRAIN by Moment for iPhone. Looks interesting, but very pricy. You are better off just getting . Offers much of the same and more.

    For most interviews I use the wireless go. Works really well with . And editing is a breeze. In this case I used just one track, but you can use multiple.

    Sometimes it is better to use the manual settings for exposure and focus that can be found in the bottom left corner. You can change things like shutter speed and iso to make the picture look a lot better.

    The video is shot with 50fps and at 1080p to make it work on TV. The circle in is used to control the exposure and the square is for focus. Lock both on your interview subject by dragging them in place and then tapping both symbols.
