    Fanfiction would be a better place to look for innovative uses of symbols than Hollywood (or comics, or big banks, or the GOP). Capitalism was once a niche interest, after all.

    For the Hollywood Moguls, she had the box office-enhancing superpower of Sex Appeal. For little girls, she had a much more useful superpower (in my opinion, anyway).

    Q1 Wonder Woman was, at the time, the only woman allowed in the club. In a way, she was and remains iconic of misogyny. She wasn't named Truth or Strength or anything related to her powers, she was just the female one. With alliteration.
