    Is that swarm of earthquakes related to volcanic activity or not? Recent work south of Long Valley caldera, California, has found that mountain snowmelt is responsible for repeatedly triggering swarms of earthquakes during the last 33 years.

    Looking southwest across Convict Lake, Mono County, California, toward Laurel Mountain and the upturned meta-sedimentary strata under which some of the seasonal swarms occur.

    The night of 4/21/2019 I also got the most intense Jellyfish sprite yet. At about 135 mile range looking from OK into KS. Note the color change red through purple in the tendrils as the nitrogen levels in the atmosphere change.

    The polar orbiting satellite passed over California around 2:47 am this morning. The image looks like a "visible" image due the light from the moon as well as reflecting off the snow and picking up the city lights.
