And even with things that are "painful" like my bottom surgery, I'm just, like, so damn EXCITED! Sure, it's scary, and sure, I'm doing it because I need it to not be in pain. But I'm getting the chance to explore a whole new configuration of my body! That's fucking awesome.

I think one of the big things that 's coming out video has done for me is remind myself to reframe my own narrative of transness and transition. There's pain, obviously. But so much joy! I'm happier than I've ever been, more comfortable and powerful than ever.
