I'm not a "novelty". I dislike the generalization that women in the games industry are novelties. I work at a place where I am respected and haven't dealt with this. Putting a blanket statement like that is saying all studios are like this. Which they are not.

I worked hard to get here and being called novelty demeans my career of which I am immensely proud of.
