    Would also add the advent of cheap oil & mining of rare earth minerals which made the recording & subsequent consumption of records possible. Can’t get on an airplane to use archives - or visit those same digitized items from your home office computer - without cheap energy.

    I know there are always lots of people w/great long-time library experience, even on some of these "strategic level" topics; that experience is more than valid and we want to recognize it.

    THIS--"At least 2 years of experience in a post-secondary library addressing scholarly communication topics or providing services around related topics"--was written to be inclusive of folx who've worked on scholcomm in libraries for awhile but maybe *just* got the MLS recently.
