WotLK was the best expansion.

I'm in agreement there, though BC did have Karazhan. OG Kara was not just
@warcraft best raid, but the best instanced content@Blizzard_Ent ever released. - Show replies

If you're always looking fondly back into the past you're going to miss the joy and excitement of what the future holds! The best expansion is the one they haven't put out yet, because there's always hope that the next one will be even more groundbreaking than the last.

As someone who started playing WoW in MoP, I found BC to be peaceful/cathartic but booooooring. Maybe it's bc I didn't understand the story, plus now the timeline's all outta wack which makes it weird. We go from Garrosh -> Thrall -> Garrosh as Warchief from Vanilla -> Mists.

As someone who is currently questing in Outland working toward the Loremaster achievement I have to say the quests are horrendous, way too many “go travel to the other side of the map, gather this and come back....now repeat x 20”...wrath had great story telling in its quests

Pandaria was my fave xpac, but I'm having a blast in Legion! Can't wait to see what BFA brings

DS was probably the start of the game going down then MoP came and it got worse there were times the content was great the wod just broke it all and legion picked up the pieces and made a fun experience that didn't make me at all want to quit but TBC and Wrath are the best xpacs

Mists of Pandaria was the best expansion, and Throne of Thunder was the best raid.
