They’ve made some inclusive narrative moves. And good on them, but they’re not exactly trailblazing here
-
I think it's the way they did it. They were introduced in such a natural way, no big fan fair like: Look here, we have the LGBTs! They're just part of the world, and as a member of the community; I'm very happy to see that. It's a good example that sets a nice precedent.

Blizzard's subtle way of introducing LGBT characters, is the correct way to do it. But ofc people are complaining that it's not "good enough", b/c these characters actually have a personality, & aren't just constantly broadcasting that they're LGBT, like they do on Twitter...
-
Being trans myself, it's cool we have someone like Pelagos. We're told his story, & it doesn't beat you over the head or feel like pandering. What these ideologues really mean by "inclusive", are just shallow blank templates they can project themselves onto, & not real characters

Is this just because of Pelagos, or is there more examples that haven't been highlighted? I have not read the majority of quest text for this expansion.

Flynn & Mathias, Pelagos, and the two nightfae former nightwarrior husband's you meet in the nightfae campaign I think. The article itself mentions it

I hope they can finally push it forward by confirming some main characters' sexual orientation. Since MoP, we have been waiting to see that Wrathion & Anduin relationship grows into something more than friendship. The intensity is undeniable. Just make it happen, Blizz. Tyvm.
-
Even when Anduin punched Wrathion in the face, it felt like, "How dare you leave me all alone and appear like this as if nothing happened? What kind of a man are you?", as if it was coming from a deep emotional place. It didn't feel like pure anger or hatred.
