        I love how it sounds massive, but then it says it's the employees being given $200 to give to their charity of their choice, so unless multiple people choose the same one, none of the charities got more than $200.

        $1.6m across 3,211 charities is an average of $498 per, but the point wasn't to fund cancer research or do anything specific - it was to let employees direct a contribution to their favorite charity. How much do you usually give?

        In other words blizzard gave each employee tax deductible of 200$ so they don't have to pay taxes on it as benefits.
